If there is a cabin filter on this 2000 XKR, does anyone know how to get to it & replace it??
I get a moldy smell every once in a while, especially on start up & high humidity days.

Cabin Filter Change on 2000 XKR
The pollen filter was a very rare option for the XK8 [X100]; even rarer to be installed at assembly. There were a few dealer installed, but frankly I can't remember when I last ran across one.
If you do have one, the wiper arms and the dark gray cowl finisher have to be removed to access it. It resides in the center of the body just below the finisher.
Good luck!

Cabin Filter Change on 2000 XKR
Stephen,
There is no cabin filter in my 2000 XK-8. If you happen to find one in your XK-R, I have a new filter with no place to put it :-)
Don
Thanks for the info on both parties.
I will remove the finisher & take a look. Trying to get rid of a stale smell coming from the heater / AC.
If it is there is the filter still available from Don McClane??
