hi, i am new to the list. does anyone have a detail list of the buyer inspection that will be done at a dealership. and i was wondering is the repair cost, parts and labor, the same as other luxury brand. and what is the reliability of the 2000 xj8 Vanden Plas Supercharged Sed 4D. i found one for $26,000 with 40,000 mileages on it. it seemed like the price is too good to be true. since kbb list it as $38,000 for trade-in. i haven't look at the car yet, but my dad said, it looks great. so i was thinking, perhaps it had a major accident that is why the price is so low.

Used cars go through a 140 point inspection prior to being certified as a "Select Edition". We charge one hour typically for a used car inspection for a prospective buyer that brings a car to the dealership. Typical labor rates run around $100.00 per hour. Prices on parts varies dealer to dealer.
