Thank you for the hinge information. My car does not have the car number on the right front. I knew that it had been damaged on that side so I had thought that frame had been replaced. Also the commission plate does not have the 1E prefix. When I wrote to the Heritage Group I had used the prefix. All other numbers on the car match so I was not concerned. I assume the early 65's used 1E? My commission plate is engraved with single and double stroke characters rather than punched! Is that correct?
