I am currently restoring an '86 XJ6 and I am upgrading the HVAC system to use the Jag/Ford actuators for the mode doors and fan speed control. To do this I have designed some custom PCB boards to fit my needs, and I designed a fan speed transistor board based off of my '88 old XJ I used to have. I just had the thought that, I remember when it failed and I replaced the transistor I also had to run wires and make new solder joints because the little PCB that the transistor was attached to, had burned along with the diode.
To make a long story short. I am having a bunch of my PCB's made and I am already paying a set up charge. I was wondering if there would be any market for the PCB boards of the fan speed transistor boards. If enough of you are interested in having access to new boards to repair your blower motor boards let me know and I will submit the design along with my stuff. To do this I would need someone to give me the dimensions of the OEM board so I can make the PCB schematic, since I no longer have my '88 XJ. I believe this board fit the XJ's and the XJS's. You can contact me here, or off list if you are interested. I just need the information by next week, so I can get a schematic built in Eagle and upload the design to the PCB house for approval with my current order. No one would have to buy any now, I just want to get the design in, so later I'm not paying a set up fee again. Let me know if there is enough interest.
