It's been months since I posted and I really liked the old forum as well others that gained from the old website, the only thing gained is the number of complaints on how NOT user friendly this is, yet we get no response from anyone who is directly related to the responsibility of this forum as to why it's not fixed or better yet what is being done......nothing but silence in this matter, I wish we all would have as much pride in our website than we do in the preservation of the Jaguar cars, but we can't because we loss all good personnel that contributed to this website in the past to other websites and we lost the email threads as well that many counted on. Maybe this forum is being posted on Lois Lerner or Hillary Clinton private email server and was wiped clean.....just a source of frustration that everyone went for the shiny object on the site yet paid little or no attention to in retaining informastion that was stored for the past ten years plus.

Gordon,
I fully concur with you that the structure and organization of this new forum is not conducive for engaging lively discussion on any issue that might be of interest to our membership. (Hardly anyone posts on here anymore). Though the look and feel is a bit updated from the last incarnation, it just doesn't guide users easily to threads or posts they might find useful.
That said, JCNA is a volunteer organization. Unless we have volunteers willing to step forward and make available the skill and time resources necessary to make various aspects of the club operations successful, things just won't happen. Rather than just pointing out the various shortcomings of the club (e.g. the forum/website), we as members have an obligation to help find solutions. Were I web development savvy, I would volunteer to assist. That not being the case, those of us not satisfied with the user experience on this site should attempt to recruit web developing fellow Jag enthusiasts to step up to this task(which I will attempt to do).
