I may have been unclear in my previous post. One short sentence referred to persons appointed. It stated "...SOME of the directors aren't even elected."

MOST appointed positions (including Slalom Chairperson) are not director positions. My position on appointed directors is stated at:

JCNA cannot run without volunteers. I volunteer work for JCNA myself, as Art well knows. The directors are the elected stewards of the JCNA corporation for the membership. Appointed directorships dilute and weaken accountability that is implied, but never specificially stated, in the JCNA Articles of Incorporation and in corporate law.
