Hi,
I was working in putting together air delivery system (air pump) and I found the air pump out of service.
Do I need keep the air delivery system ? Was it for pollution purpose? do I need replace STROMBERG Carbs by Weber carbs to do that ? does it make sense ?
My goal would be to simplify the whole system....

However and if I need replace the air pump and keep the system it seems that it does exist an after market part from several parts store (A1 Cardone 32-128 Air Pump - OE replacement)
Did somebody ever tried that part?

You can get rid of the air pump. It was used to inject air into the exhaust system so that emission limits in the US were respected.
