I have a super clean 85XJ6 with 75K miles. the air conditioner works like a dream when it's cool. now that it's hot I have the temp dial at 65, the air damper pulled left to cold. the heat comes on ,switching air to the feet and side console. Even at 100 degrees, out side, the heater is blowing. if it cliks up to the air conditioner ( in the center) the blower is never cycling to high and it only lasts a moment before the heat is back on the floor. I do not belive it is a freon issue, i juat had some added and the temp measured 45 at the vent in april. is there any way to bypass the "auto temp" guide and have it just function as an on/off air conditioner?
