I have black foam material blowing out of my A/C vents when blower is set at high setting.
What is it and how do I get rid of it?

Herb,
It's probably old insulation broken loose from a recient repair. Just let it blow out and count yourself lucky that it didn't stop up your blower. That black stuff is just old foam insulation.
