Good Day,
My ABS warning light comes on as soon as I start driving. I believe it is one of the sensors? I need to know how to test/check the sensors.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
To check the sensors, you can do two tests. First follow the wires from each wheel to their connector, the front connectors are under the hood, near the shock towers, and the rear connectors are under the carpet in the trunk. first disconnect all four sensors, and do an ohm check. I do not know what the ohm reading should be, but it doesn't matter, just make sure all four sensors are around the same ohm. If one is significantly different from the others, than you know which one is most likely bad. Next jack up the car so the wheels aren't touching the ground, switch your DVOM to AC voltage. One at a time, spin the wheels and read the AC voltage output. Front wheels should be .1-.7 VAC, rear wheels should be .04-.1 VAC. If these are wrong, make sure the speed sensor toothed wheels, are not damaged, or gunked up with crap, if one sensor is showing nothing, or open, than you found your bad sensor. Good luck, ABS problems suck. I have to test all my parts individually, because I don't know where the ABS diag. connector is to get the codes out.
