Hello:Can anyone suggest the best source for Black Connolly Leather replacement covers for my 69 Roadster Seats? Need to be a complete set including the headrests. Some are quite expensive but I am looking for quality replacements to install. Thanks,Joseph Massucco

Classic Jaguar is in Austin, not Houston.

Yes, I too have heard of and experienced a bit of delay from BAS. They apparently ship only once a week, so don't expect over-night deliveries. But ultimately, I've gotten whatever I needed from them. I'd probably try SNG Barratt as well; they are much more responsive.

In 2004 for my Jaguar OTS Series 2 I purchased two perforated seat covesr plus headrests from Classic Jaguar in Houston, Texas for about $850. No problems since & in general I have been very pleased with them. I think (only think) there has been some problems with BAS Interiors in the last couple of years - something to do with there unresponsiveness. Perhaps there parent company in Wales (UK) is better?.

Hello George and Michael: Yes - my 69 is a later version with Perforated Leather seats. Patrick was kind enough to refer me to BAS Jag Interiors. Do you have any referrals? BAS Jag looks like a very nice and quality source of supply for interior supplies.

Hello Patrick: Thank you for your referral to BAS Jag interiors. The website is actually listing a winter sale and the prices are quite good! I appreciate you taking the time to give me the referral. I was going to try to dye my seats but they are quite worn and after some consulation with the shop in my area who will replace my roof material, we decided I would buy the seat covers and they would do the install. Again - Thanks!

Joseph: In regards to sources, I always reccomend BAS Jag interiors:

More than likely, you should replace your seat foam as well. But be advised that new foam doesn't have a lot of give, and that ultimately, you will be sitting higher in your seat than before.

When I restored my interior, I sent my seats (and center console) up to BAS for them to recover, though I guess that any good trim shop in your area can do the job just as well.

Good luck.

Joseph there are several vendors who offer a good set--what bothers me is you talk about a 69 OTS but list a 68 car--Early 69 cars have a different pattern than later cars and all vendors do not recognize this--your headrests are different also if an early car.
