Hello all,
I have a 67 2+2. I just replaced the dashboard wiring loom and my brakes are not working. The problem is I don't know if they were working from before or not. I looked at the service manual and it said 3 green and purple wires should be connected on the left-hand side of the driver and they connect to fuse box 6.
My first question is are the brake lights the same as the signal lights or are they the tail lights?
The next thing I'm trying to figure out is if there's something wrong with the wiring or not. I checked the fuse and it is working. I know the lights work both tail and the turning signal lights.
On the left-hand side of the driver I also have a mysterious wire that is red and black in cloth. I tried to connect it but I am not sure what it does.
Does anyone remember how they wired the brake lights or has pictures.
