The left fuel tank and pump seem to be the issue causing the car to stutter and stall. When I switch to the right fuel tank the car begins running well once again. What are my steps to isolate the problem?

Hi John, I would first remove the boot panel to gain access to the pump. Check for power to the pump with a test light. If power & pump runs, then I would drain the fuel out at the bung on the bottom of the tank. Tank could have trash blocking the pick up tube. If no power, I wold check the dash switch.
