Still sorting out the '61 E-type. The fuel lines are relatively rigid plastic semi-transparent tubing. I had one leak in the trunk,at the first union where it turns to go under the car. I solved it by cutting the tube shorter and adding a clamp.

For originality this is likely the correct tubing, should I however consider changing it for safety. There is similar tubing running under the car up to the engine bay. At the least should I clamp all of the points of connection? They are only pushed on at this point. Should I just get new tubing of the same type, and if so where?

Any thoughts?
Thanks

Marc, get new tubing, SNG carries it. Heat the end in "HOT " water and tap the banjo fittings all the way in with a plastic mallet. Make sure you index the ends so they set right. From your pictures, it looks like the banjo fittings are only half way in and the line could be a few inches longer. Buy a little extra to practice with or practice on the old ones. I use the wire wheel on the grinder to remove the banjo from the old line. Never had one leak if it was installed right. Good luck, Tom
