I just bought a 1999 Van De Plas and I can't disable a security that will not allow me to start my car. My key will not turn enough to allow the ignition to engage. Can you please help??

Try jiggling the steering wheel as you turn the key. I've had this happen with several brands of cars not only Jaguars.
