Hello everyone, Just acquired a 1998 xk8. one question Anything having to do with my parking lights doesn't work......No side markers, no center console lights,, no tail lights,,, no parking lights in the headlights....and no front fog lights..checked fuses and relays all ok. so, I'm lost

Hi John,

I think your two most likely possibilities are the lighting switch itself, [direction indicator switch and lever] or a wire to it inside the steering column shroud. Sometimes a wire breaks as a result of years of in/out and up/down movement of the steering column. For some reason the body module is not getting the ground signal the the light switch is turned on.
