1998 xj8-l engine/1999 xk8 engine

to all members i am new to the board and in desperate need of your help, i recently pruchased a 1999 XK engine from a local dismantler that has 6k on it, they told me that it would fit in my 1998 XJ8-L however after some research i found the intake and throttle body a bit different and that i could change BUT the VVT sencors on the 98 are located on the front of the head on the left and right bank. the 99 is in the valve cover. the wiring diagram coloors and plug style are the same just not the location. do you know if this will effect the computer in my car. PLEASE RESPOND ASAP as i am running out of time to return this engine. all the best Jason, California 408.661.8299
