I have completely fallin in love with the xk8's 97+ body style. But I need help with some issue's. I have been researching this car for over 5 month's now and the mechanical feed back has been less than good. I've heard of issue from electrical to bad engine wear timing chain tentioner, cylinder sleeves, etc.... on the pre 2000 models. my concern is that I'm going to drop cash on this beautiful car and it's just going to end up looking pretty in the shop if you know what I mean. Any pit falls or suggestions on buying would be helpfull. How to distinguish the good from the bad. Any car I know is going to have it's negative fans. SO WHATS THE REAL DEAL ON THE XK8's.
