1996 XJ6/X300 - how to replace steering tilt and reach cables??

Thank you to Doug Dwyer of Victoria for responding to my earlier post back in June 2009.
Armed with his information we have determined that both the steering tilt and steering reach flexible driveshafts/cables are broken. I have located replacement cables, but do not know where to start as far as replacement is concerned. Does anyone have step-by-step instructions and/or diagrams to help guide the replacement process? Thank you for any assistance.
