For quite some time now, I get virtually no flow from the two AC vents in the center of the dash. Decent flow from two side vents, both demister vents, and the back seat ones; not much flow to the floor vents in front Same situation in the winter with the heat. Plus, the demister vents are always blowing air no matter which position the climate control blower dial is set.
So, the servo controls which operate the vents have obviously got problems. An I also suspect that the system is blending hot and cold air, regardless of the temp dial setting. I never get really hot air in the winter, and the cold air during the summer is not cold enough.
Can I remove the entire dash, disable the controls, and manually set the vents in one set of positions that will be adequate for all-season use? Cooling the windshield all summer doesn't seem like the best way to go.
