Hello,
I am new to this site, I recently purchased a 1986 Jag XJ-S with 48,000 miles on it, white with tan interior and the Dayton wire wheels. Car originally sold from Alpine Motors, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, super solid, rust free, in Michigan since 2000. Everything works on the car except the turn signals. The hazards work fine. The turn signals did work one time I drove the car and have not worked since. Any suggestions? Anything else I should watch for on this car? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Regards,

Check your #5 fuse, left side fuse box. Also, jiggle the hazard warning switch, as power for the signals goes thru that switch first. Post back.
Assuming yours is a V12 car, make sure the cooling system is 100% un-to-snuff. Most aren't, and the V12 engine is almost indestructable UNLESS it overheats.
Have your wire wheels checked for rust, broken spokes, loose spokes.
Make sure the advance mechanism inside the distributor is not seized, most are.
Unless you have proof that it has already been done, replace the under-hood fuel hoses NOW. Repeat: NOW
Great lookin' jag :-)
