I have a 1985 Jaguar KJS. The hood is stuck and I cannot figure out how to open it. When I pull the release handle, nothing happens. Please help!!!

the hood is opened by pushing it down, not pulling it..........try that for size
I thought the same, gotta get in there and keep in there.........
