Hi all, new member and recent xj-s owner.I have a question on the firing order of the '83 xj-s. In the jag tech manual it states the firing order as 1a-6b-5a-2b-3a-4b-6a-1b-2a-5b-4a-3b(cylinders numbered from the front a is rh, b is lh bank viewed from the front). On the next page for the '88 MY it states the same firing order except viewed from the rear, which would reverse the a and b banks. I have also seen forum questions on sites about this and others have stated viewed from the rear but on '88 models, can anyone clarify this for me?

1983 XJ-S Firing order
A side is the right side viewed from the drivers seat; No 1 is at the front for all jag v12s' Jaguar affectionado and etc.
Thankyou, I thought that was the case just wanted to check as it's the first one I've worked on.
