IIRC there are around 17 vacuum taps from the intake manifolds and many more hoses than that. A leak anywhere could cause the symptoms you are seeing. If all your hoses have not been recently replaced I would start there. The gulp valve is also a big leaker, since the diaphragms are prone to disintegration.
