07/01/2014 I called Dunlop to order new tires and was told the 185/15 size now comes in either a 60 or 65 profile. This was news to me. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Check the link below. You were probably talking to a modern regular tire dealer. Dunlop is making the proper tire and it is available.
