Robert not sure why you are confused. There were 5 IPLs (Interim Parts Lists) from Jaguar during the S2 production. The chrome lip at the top of the bonnet (BD 38830/1) was fitted from cars 2R13621 and 2R27981. Not fitted to 2+2 cars. The exact chassis changes for the lower chrome lip and the Jaguar Motifs on the bonnet apply to those numbers. Haddock is a good source but Richard's S2 illustrated manual in the JCNA shoppe is the final word.
