Guys: If you refer to Jaguar E Type 6&12 Cylinder Restoration Guide (Haddock), page 138, he notes "Another feature of the last Series II cars was the introduction of chrome trim around the air intake aperture". This confuses me a bit since my S2 is only 150 cars from the end of the model production run. Go figure.
