Hi Jack:
I have the same E-type as you do and the same problem with heat. The guy I bought it from (In August 2014)
had disonnected the heater hoses and turned off the access from the rad and or other points (which I am unsure of since I have not found a manual that shows them).
I am in Canada where it can get fairly cold in October/November and especially on the highway. I was on a 250 mile trip that was freezing me, so I borrowed a "Saws-All" and cut a hole in the transmission tunnel about a foot before the accelerator pedal . I peeled the steel or aluminium down to the floor and
Voila ! instant heat. So much I had to open the windows.
Well , all innovations need a little adjustment...
I am not suggesting you try my extreme methods , but I need to know the location of a labeled diagram of the heater hoses and their relative directions of flow for the heater . .Perhaps you can help me.
