I am looking for a idler pulley bracket (aka jockey pulley) for my 1970 2+2 can anyone lead me in right direction usual sources do not have it available.

Try Dan @ Jaguar Heaven 800.969.4524 be very specific about the part and its location and function because, THBOMK, there is an idler pully on the later models for the AC compressor belt. Bearings are available at your local parts store as bearings are pretty much standardized.

Are you talking about the tensioner pully for the water pump belt (spring loaded bracket on the side of the block) or the idler pully for the AC? The spring loaded pully is hard to come by (I recently saw one on Ebay, don't know what happened to it).
