I have the Mark IX with a Borg Warner transmission (original). While looking for overhaul parts, I have seen references to a DG 350, BN 12 and BW 35 and BW 8, models 65 & 66 transmissions in various parts catalogs and web sites. Any guidance?

Preston SNG is a great company--but---if I want tranny parts for those I go to Northwest Transmissions. They will be able to provide about anything you need. If you need a qualified rebuilder ask me off list and NO it is not me LOL!

George,
I purchased the service manual for the transmission from JCNA. (Item # B-J26WL)
The serial number is JBC 3423. I was looking at SNG and XK's for an overhaul kit to take to my shop. Car drives, but leaks fluid and, shifts funky, and the parking pawl does not engage. (I have tried to make that adjustment, but too messy!) I guess if a car sits up for 212 years, there should be some issues.
Thanks for all your help, it has kept me going!

Preston JCNA offers the service manual for your transmission in the shoppe. You have a Dg model trans but could you give the SN to get the model correct. The transmission manual I cited changed with every new model that had an auto box. Further the British began to make the trans themselves under license. The manual we offer has all technical bulletins through the Mk10 (3.8).
