Hello all, The "mechanical idiot" returns..... Re my 1959 XK150 - I'm having a lot of problems (gas shooting out) from the bottom area of the starting carb,,,,,,,,, i ordered some washers to see if that fixes the probem, BUT..... anyone have a whole starting carb for sale?? OR, is there a rebuilt kit available for these?? or anyone have a good used one for sale??? or know where I can get one???? OR??? tks, ray mead raymead

It is more likely that a carb float chamber is flooding, other than the washers you mention there is little else to go wrong with the unit!
