Tennessee '92 XJS

Tennessee '92 XJS

Thought I'd share a desktop image of my '92 flamenco red XJS catnapping
in the shade, dreaming of all the miles to come. I just acquired her
after a year-long search; for the last ten years she lived a pampered
life in a 5-car heated, carpeted garage in Pittsburgh, PA as part of a
rarely driven collection (Viper, '62 Corvette, etc.). I found her as a
2-owner coupe w. 39k original miles. No problems on the 600-mile drive
home; she averaged 18mpg on cruise control at 80mph. The V12 is turbine
smooth & doesn't leak a drop, while the AC is ice-cold. I love the look
& smell of her black leather after a fresh rubdown with Connolly Hide
Food. For the next few years, you'll find this cat prowling the roads of
southeast Tennessee with yours truly behind the wheel of his first Jag,
enjoying every minute of it. - Rick Sparks, Smoky Mtn. Jaguar Club
