My 1992 V-12 Canadian Limited Edition Black Cherry. #39

My 1992 V-12 Canadian Limited Edition Black Cherry. #39

This is one of the very last Series III cars made; it left the factory in Feb of 1992, and was leased out in Toronto in March 1992. It is just a three owner car and came with a complete service history. It is a V12 Vanden Plas, of which only 100 were produced for 1992. All of them were numbered by Jaguar Canada, and this is #39. The factory lists it as a Daimler Double Six. The colour is Black Cherry, a colour unique to these last 100 cars; the interior is Doeskin leather with Barley accent piping. This car has 168,000 km on it and is my daily driver. It is fitted with ABS brakes, a Jaguar 6-CD changer in the boot, boot release and every refinement Jaguar could make to the beautiful Series III. I found this car at a used car dealers lot and spent a year bringing it back to life with lots of wet sanding, buffing and attention to detail. Remarkably, this car remains totally original.
