The 1987 Jaguar XJ6 Series III Vanden Plas model has long been regarded as the most beautiful of the modern-day Jaguar sedans. Presented for your review is this medium mileage (114,444 miles) Jaguar in pristine running condition. Available in its factory color #AGA Satin Beige Metallic with parchment interior. The vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission, 4.2-liter engine, air conditioning, power steering, power windows, 4-wheel disc brakes, and a sunroof. It includes a spare tire, wheel jack, and original service manuals! Most of these vehicles have been used up, modified, and have deteriorated to an unstable state. My mother was the original owner using it for short distance trips such as; the hairdresser, nail shop, grocery store, and church and has never been in an accident. The car was originally bought in California and is still in California. I am her son and after reaching her 80’s she hung up her keys and presented the vehicle to me. I, in turn. have driven the car only short distances and the occasional Sunday road-trip to blow the engine out. My activity has added approximately 1000 miles and provided repairs (listed below) to keep the vehicle in prime shape. The quality of this car is amongst the top of any surviving Series III XJ6 and is extremely well-maintained. In fact, the car has always been garaged per my mother’s directions (“my baby never sleeps outside”). I have spent over $6000.00 in repairs.
