Rescue Village Tour - September 26, 2026
JCO MEMBERS,COME JOIN US ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26th AT 8:00 AM FOR BREAKFAST AT THE SLEEPY ROOSTER AND A TOUR OF RESCUE VILLAGE!
Meet at The Sleepy Rooster in Chagrin Falls at 8 AM for breakfast with fellow JCO members before touring Rescue Village in Novelty. They are about 2 miles apart on Rt. 306. The Sleepy Rooster has an eclectic menu with with locally sourced comfort dishes. Known for their warm, community-focused vibe with friendly service. No reservations are accepted. So be there at 8 am to grab tables as a group. After breakfast we will head north up Rt. 306 to Rescue Village. It is a private, non-profit animal welfare organization. Operating on a 14-acre park-like campus, it features an unlimited-stay facility where healthy, friendly, and treatable animals are never euthanized due to space or time constraints. It houses an average of 140 animals on any given day, ranging from traditional household pets to farm animals.
The tour is an invitation to the club to visit to see what the possibility would be to select Rescue Village as another charity to replace our unfortunate loss of a charity, New Directions. I encourage all of the JCO animal-loving members to attend. Experience the many things that Rescue Village does for the Northeast Ohio area. After the tour I will be looking for feedback on your opinions of the organization.
You will be amazed about how this organization helps animals of all kinds. And, you will see very adoptable animals that you can have a personal visit with after the tour if you are looking to add a cuddly addition to your family.
